As a few of you might realize, I serve as Caged Wolf’s Mistress, spouse, and keeper of the key. I still feel somewhat new to my role as Mistress within both my daily life and marriage. The choice Caged Wolf made all those years ago preserved our union and aided me in becoming a superior wife, mother, partner, and individual. Here is part of my background: Being the youngest of two children, I have always had an on-again-off-again relationship with my older sibling; we get along wonderfully at times and ignore one another at others. During childhood, I learned to “duck and cover,” finding it safer that way. Consequently, I developed into a naturally submissive person. Since Caged Wolf and I made “the switch” (as we refer to it), I have blossomed. Many friends and relatives have noted my increased maturity. This growth has given me the confidence to distance myself from some “toxic” individuals in my life. I engaged in deep self-reflection before making that choice, and I remain grateful for it. One of the toughest adjustments after the switch was learning to ask Caged Wolf to do things for me (I have never been entirely at ease requesting assistance). Several months ago, an individual who was supposed to be a good friend and mentor to both Caged Wolf and myself (the former Mistress C) revealed her true nature. She is not actually Domme material, nor does she possess the credentials she claimed. Furthermore, she attempted to create tension between us. Fortunately, it didn’t take hold. I later discovered that she enjoys trying to break up couples. The two women who conducted our vow renewal and collaring ceremony performed a cleansing of our home, and since then, the atmosphere in our house has returned to normal.
