Seeking guidance on managing swelling while in chastity

I’m entering the fifth month of my chastity journey, and it’s been wonderful for both me and my wife. That said, I’ve run into some edema problems during this time. Typically, three or four days after getting locked up, I notice a slight swelling in what little foreskin I have left (since I’m circumcised). When that happens, I ask permission from my Keyholder to take the device off. It takes about half an hour with some massage, and the swelling goes down. We usually keep it off overnight so I can put it back on the next day. This setup works well for us both, but I recall reading here on the forum that someone else facing similar issues modified their CB series cage by adjusting its fit. My current model is an HT, and I’m considering having 1/8th of an inch ground out from the bottom of the tube to see if it helps ease my edema. Has anyone tried this modification or do you have other suggestions for me?
